One Day Offline: A Break From Technology

Hi Technology,
I know you understand relationships are complicated. Hard, even. Actually scratch that. I’ll just be blunt. Look Tech, we need to talk because we have to figure this out for once and for all.
Hey hey hey, easy now, no need to worry; it’s not you, it’s me. I know it’s cliche and you probably hear that a lot but, it really is me. We’ve been together for a pretty long time and we’ve had our ups and downs, maybe more ups than downs but nonetheless, here we are. Truthfully, I don’t know what to do. A part of me wants to break up with you and the other half is just way too comfortable. Attached even.

A Road Trip in a Kia Soul

I love road trips and honestly, I don’t take enough of them! I love riding in a car, seeing beautiful scenery, and listening to music. I know some people would prefer having a car like this Wichita Ford truck for their road trips, but everyone is different when it comes to planning out their trips and what cars they would drive. Even more importantly, I love the bonding you are able to do on a road trip. Face it, your stuck in a car with someone for a certain amount of time, so it pretty much forces you to bond. I got to do just that with a friend of mine as we took a road trip in a Kia Soul to Upstate, New York.

How I Spent 36 Hours in Las Vegas

What can I say, I love Las Vegas! I have been so many times and always find new things to do while also enjoying things I have done several times. It is a great place with much more to offer than what most think. I also love showing what I like to call “Vegas Virgins” around. So when my friend who had never been to Vegas wanted to go with me to see what it was all about, I was happy to take her on my quick 36 hours in Las Vegas!

Fun and Different Things To Do In Las Vegas Pt. 2

There are so many things to do in Las Vegas. Drinking, gambling, and hitting the nightlife are what most know of, but there is so much more. Las Vegas seems to have it all, but I bet you didn’t realize just how important Las Vegas actually is though, did you? For example, how much of the Las Vegas strip history do you actually know? How many famous people have walked it? How many famous people (like nelson sardelli) have come from Vegas? You might think that these questions are a little random, but in order to fully appreciate Vegas, you have to know it’s history. Just so you can really appreciate it before you go out and have fun. You don’t need me to tell you how much fun you can have in the casinos, although you may be surprised to learn that you can have just as much fun playing something like paypal slots if you’re unable to visit Vegas for any reason. Last year I let you in on some Fun and Different Things to do in Las Vegas. I promised I would come back with another round and I am here to deliver. I can pretty much guarantee there will be another follow up to this. So if you are wondering what else there is to do in Sin City, keep reading. 4 The Foodie Nevada

Blueberry Hill in Las Vegas, NV

With so many great restaurants and buffets in Las Vegas it can be hard to decide where to get some food. I have eaten at many different places around Vegas, but I have heard from a couple of locals that Blueberry Hill is the place to go for some great breakfast. With 4 locations across Las Vegas and not far from the strip, it is easy to indulge.

Neon Boneyard Tour in Las Vegas

Las Vegas holds a special place in my heart. It has so much more to offer than many would fathom. I have visited many times and always find something new to see and do. Vegas has gone though so many changes through the years. Many hotels, businesses, and restaurants that were once there have been long gone. They have been demolished and replaced by bigger and newer businesses, the Neon Museum has made sure to preserve some of Las Vegas’ history by having the Neon Boneyard.

Little Car, Big City

One would think that Mitsubishi’s little car would get swallowed up in a big city like New York. But similar to the plasma purple coat, the Mirage shined bright during my adventure for the week. My time with the car would take me around 2 of the 5 Boroughs, Queens and Manhattan. If I’m being honest, I was a bit worried about driving round the big city. I even thought about doing a defensive driving course to help me gain a bit more confidence driving around a busy place. I even looked up a company called my improv, but I think I’ll be fine, just got to wait and see what happens I guess.
